Con mucha frecuencia tengo un cierto estilo, un nivel de comodidad con muchas de mis pinturas que de alguna manera surge cuando me acerco a otro lienzo en blanco o panel de madera. Creo que lo que suele surgir, y cierto de esta pintura, es en general una divertida combinación de elementos que involucra pequeñas formas irregulares, grandes formas irregulares y líneas fluidas, conectadas que unen los elementos y provocan el importantísimo flujo de ojos y energía que toma el espectador para un viaje rápido a través de la imaginación, las emociones y el espíritu de Rick Citta.

Así que ahí lo tienes. Mi descripción de lo que sucede, lo que lucho y lo que pienso y siento mientras trabajo en mis aventuras abstractas. Esta pintura es una de las nueve, hasta ahora, que han formado mi serie Geostrata. Así titulado, esta serie, ya que incorporo intencionalmente simulaciones, sugerencias de rocas y estratos geológicos ... en estos resúmenes que representan y presentan mi abstracción de las maravillas geológicas de la tierra.

As often so I have a certain style, a comfort level with many of my paintings that somehow comes forth as I approach another blank canvas or wood panel. I think what usually emerges, and true of this painting, is in general a fun combination of elements that involves small irregular shapes, large irregular shapes and flowing, connecting lines that unite the elements and cause the all important eye flow and energy that takes the viewer for a quick journey through the imaginations, emotions and spirit of Rick Citta.

So there you have it. My description of what happens, what I strive for and what I think and feel as I work on my abstract adventures. This painting is one of nine, thus far, that have formed my Geostrata series. So titled, this series, as I intentionally incorporate simulations, suggestions of rock and geological stratas... in these abstracts that depict and present my abstraction of earth's geological wonders.
