“Use” is an experimental short video visualizing household water use through abstracted, animated text, drawing upon the rhythmic fluidity of poetry as a creative framework, enabling the text to visually embody the essence of its content — much like water flows, evaporates or becomes a haze of steam. The text forms an abstract visual poem connoting rhythmic ebb-and-flows of human uses of water — cascading, swirling, encapsulating the inherent fluidity of language and life, reminiscent of water, its inexhaustible (yet exhaustible) use for our existence.
