Echoes of Illumination
The paintings in the Echoes of Illumination series depict threads of shimmering light streaming into circular forms. Seen from afar, they are a graphic pop of color bringing joyful energy into any space, they catch the light and nearly glow—while the highly layered technique draws the viewer in, to look up-close and examine the tapestry of layers upon layers of many-colored vertical lines.
It is this dual nature, and the ability of the paintings to draw viewers in, that has kept me expanding the series. I love watching people explore the paintings up close and pepper me with questions about how they are created. They provide a meditative space for people to look and free associate— I have heard so many stories about what they remind viewers of and how they make them feel.
Psychedelic Donuts
The Psychedelic Donuts are a series of mixed-media abstract paintings that visualize the flow-state that the jams put me into and reference both the music and the visceral experience of being bathed in Chris Kuroda’s stunning show lighting. I envision the lights and the music as emanating from the donuts themselves.
While the Psychedelic Donut Series comes intimately out of Phish’s music the paintings speak to a wider audience as pieces of abstract fine art that can resonate with any viewer through pattern and color.

Quick & Daring
The Quick and Daring Collection is a series of small mixed media paintings and monoprints. I chose to work small & fast to capture a wide range of vibrant color schemes and bold geometric designs. Each one-of-a-kind piece was painted on archival paper, mounted on birch block, sealed with cold wax, and is wired and ready to hang. The small size and lower price range is perfect for collectors who like to mix and match paintings in a salon style gallery wall.
