The paintings in the "Echoes of Illumination" series depict threads of shimmering light streaming into circular forms.  Seen from afar, they are a graphic pop of color bringing joyful energy into the space, they catch the light and nearly glow. While the highly layered technique draws the viewer in, to look up-close and examine the tapestry of layers upon layers of many-colored vertical lines.
