Statement
Phyllis is a plein air and studio painter whose work seeks to take you on the journey appreciate the seen and the often unseen in the singular beauty that is New Mexico. This journey is with the beautifully God created landscape. Her plein air work has had a profound influence on her large studio pieces.
Phyllis is know for her sweeping vistas of the New Mexico landscape and historic architecture, especially along the iconic Mother Road - Route 66. She loves the sun on her face and paint brush in hand.
You just may spot Phyllis and her painting buddies in their big hats off the road interpreting our enchanted land.
