Patti Morgan is an Oklahoma-based painter whose work reflects a decades-long relationship with the landscapes of western Oklahoma. Working primarily in oil on canvas, wood panels, and paper, she blends realism and expressionism to capture the region’s vast skies, quiet expanses, and subtle, enduring beauty. Morgan holds a BFA from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO), where she received both the Distinguished Graduate Award and the Outstanding Graduate Award.

Painting in oil on canvas, paper, and wood panel I capture the region’s vast skies, quiet expanses, and subtle, enduring beauty.
I use dynamic brushwork, ranging from smooth, flowing lines to loose, dynamic strokes, to inspire each painting with both realism and expressionism.
Layered color and subtle transitions create atmospheric depth, while a consistent palette and thoughtful composition reflect my intentional approach.
