Tikkun Olam - Repair the World

A new series of fine art combining paints and bead weaving on canvas telling many layered stories interconnected by the concept of the Anthropocene Epoch and my own Jewish mythos.

Pen, Ink, Watercolor! Beyond the Natural World

All of these works are pen and ink and most also include watercolors. All of the works are inspired by the natural world; they just don't stay there.

Fine Art Earrings

Unique bead woven earrings that are ornate, bold, and ready to be worn and shown off.

Beadwoven Spirals to Wear

These are tubular netting and other techniques that are created by using weaves that spiral as they grow.

Fine Art, Before 2018

Fine art works still in my studio or on my walls, waiting for new owners to cherish them.

New for 2024, the Green Valentine gift collection. There are also Pink and Purple collections.

Tikkun Olam: Mismanaged Earth

Tikkun Olam, Mismanaged Earth, focuses on the shortsighted catastrophe of climate change and resource mismanagement. Each work is reflects my hope and call that we recognize our desperate need to "clean up our act;" and that we each do what we can to make positive change.

Tikkun Olam: Works for Peace

Tikkun Olam: Works for Peace spotlights the inhumanity of wars and conflicts demanding the viewer to reflect on this inhumane practice. And then to work against it.

Tikkun Olam: Offering Respite

Part of repairing the world is sharing - or offering - respite. The works in this collection are especially well aligned to that action.

Cold Spectrum, a Small Series for May 2024

Originally part of the larger Tikkun Olam series, I quickly realize these were demonstrating an evolutionary tale, going from a collection of many colors through shifts in tone and a lessening of variety til finally coming to an end at a sort of monochromatic study.

Artists Sunday - Let Your Voice Be Heard

I am a self-representing, independent artist-activist with a vision of a better future for humanity and all life on earth that I want to share with everyone! Once a year, on the Sunday following Thanksgiving in the USA, there is an international art event, Artists Sunday. This year I am recovering from a spinal injury so while I am still including works from my series, Tikkun Olam, (Hebrew for "Repair the World" See individual works in this collection), I want to emphasize "Making our homes holiday homes." The stresses of life are pounding us more than ever, we need to be more mindful of making our homes more welcoming for celebrating the upcoming holidays in order to balance stress with joy. To help with this, I am focusing on home decor, cards, and stationary for both Chanukah and Christmas. These can be found in my Zazzle Collections, https://www.zazzle.com/collections/chanukah_hanukkah-119766175195864066?rf=238522287021656930 and https://www.zazzle.com/collections/christmas_collection-119788402094779801?rf=238522287021656930. For those who want to do their gift giving through charitable giving, I have two options. The first is supporting my first public art installation, "Let's Hang Out(side)" - https://www.vener-art.com/LHOs.html - by donating to the project through my fiscal sponsor, The Arts Council of Greater New Haven. You get to take a tax deduction. The second is to donate directly to me to support my art activism through my account at Ko-fi - https://ko-fi.com/patriciacvener The Tikkun Olam sub-series collections are: 1) https://www.artworkarchive.com/profile/patricia-c-vener/collection/tikkun-olam-mismanaged-earth 2) https://www.artworkarchive.com/profile/patricia-c-vener/collection/tikkun-olam-works-for-peace 3) https://www.artworkarchive.com/profile/patricia-c-vener/collection/tikkun-olam-offering-respite
