Handmade jewelry is the best because the variety is infinite. For example, these short dangle earrings use glass, metal and gemstones. The glass beads have a coppery iridescent finish and are old Czech molded beads. The metal beads are unusual in that they show both copper and brass tones. I rescued them from a pair of imported costume earrings.

These are part of my "Improv" line, a series designed to make use of various components that I have too few of to use in my larger projects. These drop down a bit less than an inch in length and are hung onto sterling silver earwires.
