Have you noticed how variable a blue sky can be? Especially on a clear day with a clean sky and the sun so very bright? Near the sun, the sky is light while opposite the sky can be a very dark blue.

The reason our sky is blue is that we have an atmosphere which interacts with the incoming light from the sun. All the wavelengths (colors) of the incoming light scatter, but blue light scatters more than other visible light colors.

Length of these drop earrings is about half an inch from the bottom of the loop. These pretty blue earrings are shown with hypoallergenic niobium earwires which at your request can be exchanged for Argentium sterling silver earwires at no extra cost.
