Teri is a self-taught artist from Tyler, Texas. Her lifelong interest in art is expressed through pastel paintings, drawings, photography, photo editing, collage, and encaustic photography. Her work has been featured at Gallery Main Street, Tyler, Texas, Fort Works Art Gallery, Fort Worth, TX, University of North Texas CoLab, Denton, Texas, and Red Bluff Art Gallery, Red Bluff, California. She’s a member of the Texas Artists Coalition and the Palette of Roses Art League.
The driving force behind her creations is the desire to live life to the fullest. A rebellion against merely existing. Art, in all of its forms, is life-affirming and helps her to celebrate the beautiful moments and find meaning in the difficult ones.
Teri's work is an ongoing attempt to maintain a curiosity about the world and share the beauty she finds in the simplest of things. She wishes to hold space in life for dreaming and creativity.
