Ticket, a large-scale, horizontal, oil on canvas painting is dominated by a variety of deep green colors. The painting is a direct response to the dense, wooded area behind my studio. This abstract landscape painting uses colors from observation in gestural, dynamic paint strokes that respond directly to the movement of the trees and vegetation of deep Summer.
