Vertical, large-scale, oil on canvas abstraction is a gestural mix of blue, reds and warm colors. This painting is inspired directly from travels int the Mediterranean. I have long been inspired by landscapes and seascapes, mostly from my travels. The colorful exuberance of the painting, brought me directly back to the places of Matisse and Cézanne.
