This is an original block print by Emmy Lou Packard. This print appears to have been dated 1951 in the lower right corner. If this date is correct it would imply that this print was originally done as a protest to the Korean War and was repurposed as a protest piece for the Vietnam War. This print came to the Mendocino Art Center through a generous donation by Don Cairns and the Packard family estate. This print was created on a very lightweight piece of paper. The original paper has been taped to a more substantial paper-board. There is a tear in the piece on the middle right.
