This mixed media artwork was part of a generous donation to the Mendocino Art Center by Janet and David Peoples.
11 lead plates in a glazed raku box created by Stephen Braun. Accompanied by a book, Diogenes Defictions, consisting of twenty-one selected anecdotes or performance pieces of the archcynic Diogenes prepared by Thomas McEvilley, hand-lettered by Christopher Stinehour, and printed by Peter Koch.
