I made 5 or 6 trips to Arkansas in 2020. Campgrounds and State Parks were closed due to the pandemic, so I camped in a secluded field in the Ozark National Forest.
Capturing rushing water is particularly challenging, as it moves in a bit of a blur. How do you convey this motion? The answer for me is lots of glances. This was painted over three days at the same time.
I walked through the creek to get to this side and it's a bit cold standing by the falls, so I'm dressed in many layers!
