I painted this view along Cherry Road, just after the mayor announced the stay at home mandate. Recreating outdoors was still permitted. These cherry trees are not long-lived and their blossoms come and go quickly, so I like to witness them in all their beauty. I'm painting here very close to the tree, almost in its embrace.
