The Project [Biotope Contained] emphasizes on environmental aspects
within our existence.
Mainly influenced by the artist’s life in the remote jungle of the PENINSULA DE OSA / COSTA RICA

The oxygen tank made its debut in 1998 when the artist Mark staged an interactive installation titled "AIR." This innovative work invited audiences to engage with the concept of air and its vital importance to life. The current painting represents a fusion of this past concept with contemporary environmental themes, reflecting the ongoing dialogue between humanity and the natural world. By integrating the symbolism of the oxygen tank, the artist underscores the critical relationship between air quality, environmental health, and our existence. This evolution of the initial idea into a new artistic expression highlights Mark's commitment to addressing pressing ecological issues through his work.
