Statement

Over the years, my paintings have evolved and returned to the fundamental concept of beauty. To recognise and appreciate external beauty is to reconnect with our own, a small but important step towards a world of harmony.

I would like my paintings to initiate a dialogue with the observer, to offer a subtle reminder of our fundamental search for happiness. By painting a representation of a real object with a surrealist twist and achieving the illusion of reality, I wish to lead the viewer towards an emotional response that is soothing and inspiring.
