Gallerium Art: Planetarium 2022 and 2023 Group Exhibition
Gallerium proudly presents Plantarium - 2022 and 2023.
The subject of this dual art call is plants and our deep roots and relationship with trees, leaves, flowers, and green grass on the planet earth.
The planet will cease to exist without plants, and we enormously rely on the plant world and use them in diverse ways, from food and medicine to clothing, building, and fuel.
These days, several doctors prescribe a barefoot walk in nature, looking at plants, smelling flowers, and touching trees' skin as one of the best methods for maintaining and enhancing physical and mental health.
Plantarium 2022 encourages artists to share their visual story of the plant world and create a unique botanical expression with their brilliant art of plants, herbs and vegetables, forests, trees, grass, flowers, and extensive usage.
All real and imaginary interpretations of the subject in abstract or figurative style are welcome.
The selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts: Plantarium series and in Plantarium 2022 international online group exhibition by Gallerium.
Hallberg Center for the Arts
The Hallberg Center for the Arts, nestled in Wyoming, MN just north of the Twin Cities, is owned and operated by the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community. In 2015, this young organization raised enough money to purchase this historic old church building with the vision of turning it into a center for the arts. It's named after it's biggest donor, the Hallberg Family Foundation.
Today, the Hallberg Center for the Arts hosts new exhibits, concerts, and classes every month, bringing in artists from throughout the Midwest to share their artwork in this unique venue.
Minneapolis Convention Center 2022
Artwork is collected biannually through an open Call for Artists with specific parameters in alignment with the City of Minneapolis Public Art Policies & Procedures Guide and the Minneapolis Arts Commission Selection Process. All images received are reviewed by a committee of panelists who are appointed by the Office of Ward 7 Councilwoman Lisa Goodman, Citizens for a Loring Park Community, and the Minneapolis Arts Commission.
