Excited to share that my first wall sculptures, “Superstar” and “Dance Party” have joined the permanent collection at the Bakersfield Museum of Art .

This pair was made for my solo show Sacred Spaces, inspired by the connection I missed with friends and family. These two wall pieces along with the other pairs of dancing works were conceived together, to celebrate the connection we can have with another being in the brevity of a moment or a lifetime. This show had works that hoped to counter the isolation of the pandemic and celebrate the sacred spaces we create with one another and with ourselves.
