This particular work is titled “Migration” because it features 3 orchids that appear to be flying together, against the same gust of wind, hoping to find a soft landing. I can’t help but visualize my parents carrying me to begin our journey from Vietnam to the US while pregnant with my baby sister(represented by the orchid bud).
