MessageJoan Brady is a classically trained artist. Recent works reflect seven years living and working on a tiny island twelve nautical miles off the coast of Maine.
Brady holds a B.A. degree from Mount Holyoke College, Massachusetts where she received the Phi Beta Kappa Prize in Art. She earned an M.A.L.T. degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University, Baltimore, MD. She studied at the Schuler School of Fine Arts, with Zoll Studio School of Fine Arts, and at Baltimore Clayworks in Baltimore, Maryland.
Brady’s paintings are found throughout the east coast in the form of murals, trompe l’oeil, and framed works. Patrons and clients include the Henry DuPont Winterthur Museum, Delaware; and The Hotel Hershey, Pennsylvania among many others. She has been an art educator, a popular guest lecturer, has appeared on Lifetime Television, and her work has been published in Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
Currently she resides in Annapolis Maryland.
