RASA MAURAGIS
Extensive travel in the Australian outback and living in the Snowy Mountains changed the direction of my work. Dyeing and eco printing with plant materials from the local environment I create marks with the foliage, barks, leaves and flowers using silk, wool, cotton and linen and paper to produce environmental art pieces that are both functional and artistic.
