The Space Between Knowing
This piece lives in a quiet threshold.
A place where awareness begins to surface, but clarity hasn’t fully formed. Where something shifts internally—subtle, persistent—but resists immediate explanation.
It began with hidden words, pressed into the page in the same color as the surface. Thoughts that needed release without exposure. A private dialogue beneath everything that followed.
Without collage, the process remained contained.
More intimate. More direct.
The layers of color carry the movement of thought—looping, circling, returning. Each shape and line reflects the attempt to understand something that cannot yet be named.
The eyes are open, alert, searching.
Not startled, not at rest—simply aware.
This is not confusion in its loudest form.
It is quieter than that.
This is the space where knowing begins—
before it becomes language, before it becomes certainty.
