Soft Static explores the feeling of emotional noise existing beneath an outwardly bright surface. Built from layered marker strokes and fragmented forms, the piece moves between playfulness and disorientation, where faces dissolve into symbols and shifting expressions.
The transparency of the marker allows every previous mark to remain visible, creating a sense of overlapping thoughts, emotions, and identities existing all at once.
