Born in Nebraska, raised in Central Illinois and a Chicagoan for my adult life - I moved to the country in Southwest Michigan in 2012 to pursue a simpler, quieter life. Now I do small scale farming, tend 10 acres, raise ducks, bake, can, pickle, make soap and create oil paintings in the art studio in my barn.
