Ma série Mélusine s'inspire d'un grand mythe médiéval qui traite de la quête d'humanité, du mystère, de la confiance, de la partie monstrueuse qu'on désire cacher. J'ai mis au service de sa légende mes encres et mes matrices afin de représenter son hybridité de femme et fée, humaine et animale, amante et mère.

This piece is created using collagraphy and drypoint techniques. It is a monochromatic and surreal composition mixing abstract shapes with organic and human elements. A detailed, disembodied head contrasts against a white background, while two delicate, lined leaves emerge from a dark, amorphous base resembling a crouching figure.
“Emerald Robe” is part of my “Melusine” series, which is inspired by a medieval myth that resonates for me with themes of humanity, mystery, trust and the monstrous parts of ourselves that we often try to hide.
