- A red-eared slider for the summer
- Watercolor and Gouache
This painting was inspired by a photograph I took at a historical plant conservatory found in the city I currently live in. The conservatory not only houses flora, but many turtles also call it home. This red-eared slider turtle looked so cozy and proud to be sitting among the vines and leaves, that I knew I wanted to embody the creature's personality in artwork. Watercolor, gouache, and Micron pen (black ink) on hot press watercolor paper.
