Echoes of Stillness

In my exploration of dilapidated structures, I found a profound source of inspiration during my2024 sojourns in the UK, where ancient ruins and priories spoke to me in whispers of history. This collection of works serves as a visual narrative, translating my experiences into a tangible form for the viewer. The artworks communicate two central themes: Awe: Each piece encapsulates the majestic essence of these historical sites, adorned with moss and steeped in history. Through my art, I aim to convey the overwhelming sense of awe and wonder I feel in their presence, inviting viewers to share in the fascination and quiet majesty that these places hold. Be Still: The awe-inspiring structures depicted in my paintings serve as a compelling reason to pause and embrace stillness. The intertwining of awe and stillness becomes a central motif, urging viewers to abandon the chaos of everyday life and immerse themselves in the tranquility these artworks offer. Each piece is a visual record of emotionally charged moments, encouraging the viewer to breathe, be still, and appreciate the mystery inherent in these evocative places.

Le Salon - ART POST Exhibition 2025

Have you ever found yourself completely at peace amidst the beauty of nature, where time seems to stand still and your soul feels rejuvenated? Me too!

The landscapes I paint are not mere representations of physical locations but are infused with the emotions and memories associated with them. My work is a dance of light, colour, and texture, where the abstraction allows viewers to connect with their own experiences and feelings of peace and renewal.

Practicing art is an intrinsic part of who I am. This commitment to my art is a process of self-renewal, a way to nourish my spirit. Through my paintings, I invite you into a place of quiet reflection, solace, and a sense of belonging—I invite you to reconnect with the land and with oneself.
