ORIGINAL VINTAGE GOLD VERMEIL STERLING SILVER & ENAMEL DOUBLE LEAF BROOCH BY THE NORWEGIAN ARTIST ALBERT SCHARNING (1875-1950)

This stunning vintage 1950s gold vermeil sterling silver and olive enamel double leaf brooch was created by the Norwegian artist Albert Scharning, a brilliant Scandinavian silversmith known for his modernist enameled silver jewelry. The leaf brooch measures 2 1/4 inches long (57 mm) by 1 1/8 inches wide (28 mm). Marked, with the artist’s hallmark: A.Sch. 925 S. Weight: 10.2 grams.
