This is an exceptionally fine watercolor by Charles Davidson. The artist is known for his impressive command of tone and depth of field which is apparent in this work.

The medium is watercolor on heavy card stock wove paper, painted to the edges. The watercolor measures 11 3/4 x 18 3/4 inches in size (30 x 47.5 cm). Date of creation is unknown, circa late 19th century. The watercolor painting comes unframed.
