TITLE UNKNOWN [ STREET SCENE ] SIGNED ORIGINAL LIMITED EDITION WOODCUT PRINT BY CHINESE AMERICAN WATERCOLOR ARTIST AND PRINTMAKER DONG KINGMAN (1911-2000)

This very rare and scarce small edition woodcut print, of a street scene featuring a large tree and a black cat, was created by the well known watercolorist and printmaker Dong Kingman. The woodcut is signed in ink by the artist in the margin below the image lower right: KINGMAN, and dedicated by the artist in the margin below the image lower left: To Bill. Best wishes. This woodcut is an excellent example of the artist’s early graphic work.

The image size measures 6 x 9 inches, printed on Japon paper with margins, the sheet size measures 10 3/4 x 13 3/8 inches.
