This stunning floral still life painting was created by the American artist Mareeta Dies. The medium is oil on canvas board, measuring 20 x 16 inches. The painting is signed by the artist in the image lower left corner: Mareeta Dies. It is also signed by the artist, including the artist’s address, on the back of the canvas board upper left: Mareeta Dies 2640 Lake View Ave, and on the back of the frame lower right: Mareeta Dies 2640 Lake View Ave. There is a label on the back of the frame which bears the artist’s signature, address, title, medium and the original price for the painting. Date created is unknown, estimate circa 1950s. The painting comes with the original frame which measures 23 5/8 x 19 5/8 inches.
