“MORNING ON THE SEINE”, 1930 SIGNED ORIGINAL LIMITED EDITION ETCHING BY THE BRITISH ARTIST AND PRINTMAKER STANLEY ANDERSON RA (1884-1966)

This limited edition etching, a realistic scene of homeless men washing their clothes in the Seine river, is signed in pencil by the artist in the margin below the image center: Stanley Anderson, titled in pencil in the margin lower left: “Morning on the Seine”. and annotated in pencil in the margin lower right: Edition 85 proofs.

Stanley Anderson is renowned for his highly detailed etchings. This etching is an excellent example of the artist’s graphic work. The image size measures 7 x 9 1/2 inches, printed on cream color wove paper, the sheet with full margins measures 11 7/8 x 13 7/8 inches. The etching comes unframed.
