This wonderful watercolor painting, a nocturnal scene landscape titled “Hot Lake Barn - Night”, is signed by the artist in the lower right corner: DON GRAY.

Oregon artist Don Gray is well known for his realistic watercolor landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. This watercolor, with a focus on the mood and atmosphere of the night, is an excellent example of the artist's early work. Painted to the edges on watercolor paper, the image size measures 10 3/8 x 14 3/8 inches. Date created unknown, circa 1980s. The watercolor comes unframed.
