This original color lithograph, a limited numbered edition of 200, titled “Family Tree” is by the American artist Norman Rockwell, who is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine. This image, of the cover illustration for The Saturday Evening Post (October 24, 1959), is an excellent example of the artist's work.
The lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist in the margin below the image lower right: Norman Rockwell and numbered in pencil in the margin below the image lower left: 109/200.
Lithograph printed in colors on Arches paper at Atelier Mourlot, Paris, France (June 1971). The image size measures 25 1/2 x 22 3/4 inches (64.8 x 57.8 cm), the sheet with full margins measures 29 1/2 x 25 1/4 inches (75 x 64 cm). The lithograph comes unframed.
