"FORMAL PORTRAIT", 1986 SIGNED ORIGINAL LIMITED EDITION COLOR SERIGRAPH PRINT BY THE AMERICAN PAINTER AND PRINTMAKER LOUIS OCEPEK (b.1942)

This limited edition cubist style geometric portrait color serigraph (silkscreen print) is by the American artist, designer and master printmaker Louis Ocepek.

Printed in a very small edition of only 19 prints, this rare early serigraph is an exceptional example of the artist’s work. The serigraph is pencil signed and dated by the artist in the margin below the image lower right: LOUIS OCEPEK 1986, numbered and titled in the margin below the image lower left: 7/19 “FORMAL PORTRAIT”.

The image size measures 32 7/8 x 19 3/4 inches. Printed on wove paper, the sheet with full margins measures 37 x 24 inches. The serigraph comes unframed.
