“ET DIEU CREA LA FEMME”, 1965 SIGNED ORIGINAL LIMITED EDITION COLOR AQUATINT ETCHING BY THE BRITISH-CANADIAN ARTIST AND PRINTMAKER JENNIFER DICKSON RA (1936-2025)

This limited edition color aquatint etching titled “And God Created Woman” is by the British-Canadian artist Jennifer Dickson RA, who is known for being one of Canada’s most distinguished artists, and an award-winning printmaker and photographer. This etching is an excellent example of her early graphic work.

The etching is signed and dated in pencil by the artist in the margin below the image lower right: Jennifer Dickson ’65, numbered in pencil in the margin below the image lower left: 45/50, and titled in pencil in the margin below the image center: Et Sien crea la femme.

The image size measures 14 5/8 x 23 3/8 inches (37.2 X 59.4 cm). The etching is printed on heavy wove paper, the full sheet with margins measures 17 7/8 x 25 7/8 inches (45.4 X 65.7 cm). The etching comes unframed.
