Eric Jones was born in Kansas and grew up in the American Midwest. He attended Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD. His work spans a range of media including drawings and paintings on antique paper and 3D works in wood, stone, and metal. Eric has taught various workshops, classes, and participated in youth programs such as the Art and Leadership Program for Boys and Girls. His work has been on display in exhibitions and galleries, and is in private collections throughout the United States and Europe. 

Eric continues to gain inspiration from the people and places he encounters on his frequent travels. Most recently, he has produced a series of paintings for exhibitions and galleries in Wyoming and South Dakota. These recent paintings are an exploration of abstracted, western based symbols and ideas. Mr. Jones is currently staying in South Dakota and continues to travel, explore, investigate, and translate his interpretations into works of fine art.
