DON’T EXPECT LIFE TO MAKE SENSE #4 (100 × 700 cm) is part of a series where I challenge myself to let go of control. I’ve been painting for years, but in this body of work I deliberately use unfamiliar tools, mix colors in new ways, and allow coincidence to shape the outcome. It’s about embracing what happens - just like in life.
Each piece in the series shares this spirit, but they’re visually very different. This one is dominated by deep blue tones, layered with sweeping gestures, drips, and scribbles. The white marks remind me of melting ice or heavy rain, while the darker lines above add tension and rhythm. There’s little texture on the surface, so the focus stays on movement and emotion.
For collectors, galleries, and interior designers looking for large abstract paintings, expressive contemporary art, or statement pieces with emotional depth, this work offers presence, honesty, and a bold visual experience. It’s painted in acrylic mixed media on paper and invites reflection - without needing to make sense.
