Watching our resident cardinals in every season is always a joy! The sunflower is one of the loveliest wildflowers native to North America and is an important food source for many birds. While staying at a friend's abode, we watched baby cardinals fluttering and leaving their nest for the first time. The diligent parents worked together, encouraging their fledglings to flutter into the protected bushes of the garden.
