Michael Meier was born in Cleveland Ohio in 1982. His work investigates the interstitial space of visual and psychic faculties through the language of contemporary painting. He received his BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and obtained an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis. His work has been exhibited in Cleveland, Chicago and St. Louis. He is currently an instructor at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
