
Lissa received her BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1995. In January 1996, she opened the Bockrath Gallery and as its director, represented local and national artists, and also held an annual exhibition of her own work. Her paintings have recently been recognized internationally with reviews, exhibitions and sales around the world including at the Butler Institute of American Art and the Zanesville Museum of Art. In 2015 she was awarded #4 in the top artists of Ohio by the amazing Artists a Day site. Articles about her work have appeared in National Studio Visit Magazine, Artist Portfolio Magazine and 15-page spread in Italy’s Articulation art Review Magazine. Lissa has ongoing representation with the Kenneth Paul Lesko Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. She has also served on the board of the Valley Art Center, a non-profit arts organization in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Most recently Lissa had a solo show at the AGO Galleria Italia in Toronto, ON where she currently resides.
