Josh Werling, hailing from Northwest Ohio, is an accomplished designer and photographer with over 25 years of experience in both 2D digital and analogue graphics, fine art, design, and print. His impressive portfolio includes collaborations with notable clients such as American Greetings, MOCA Cleveland, Frontier Airlines, and the Denver Broncos.

In 2008, he founded the Digital Output Center at the Cleveland Institute of Art, a facility designed by artists for artists that provides a comprehensive 2D digital production space. This initiative not only offers advanced resources but also aims to educate students, faculty, and the broader community in digital print, color management, and file preparation techniques. Since August 2008, he has served as the Output Center Coordinator, focusing on familiarizing and supporting the Cleveland Institute of Art community in these fields.
Prior to this role, Josh worked as a Prototyper for American Greetings, where he was responsible for color matching and producing printed materials for greeting cards and packaging, and as a Digital Imaging Specialist at Fineline Signs & Graphics, where he prepared and produced wide-format images for various applications.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design from Bowling Green State University, where he completed his degree in 2001. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is actively involved in the arts community as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Heights Arts Collaborative since January 2015, further showcasing his dedication to enhancing arts and culture.
