Everick Lynton's journey with paint began at just 15 years old, palette in hand at the Grantley Adams Memorial School. Born in Bridgetown, Barbados, his artistic path has been guided by the play of light, the textures of the land, and the cityscapes that define Bajan life.

Everick works in pastels, oils, and watercolours, often using a palette knife to build rich impasto textures that pulse with emotion. His landscapes and scenes are deeply inspired by the environment and people of Barbados—a visual love letter to the island he calls home.

With a career spanning decades, Lynton has exhibited internationally-from Canada and the U.S. to Austria and Florida-and his pieces reside in the permanent collections of the Sidney Martin Library at UWI, the Nation Publishing Company, and many private collections across the globe. He's been the recipient of multiple awards and featured in esteemed publications such as Barbados in a Nutshell and the Vision of Verse calendar by CLICO.

Everick's legacy is marked by over 20 major exhibitions, and his contributions continue to echo through the island's cultural landscape.
