My name is Andrea Lane Ainsworth, and I am an abstract and multimedia artist based in Jeanerette, Louisiana. With a BA in General Studies focusing on Applied Sciences and a minor in Arts and Humanities, I am mostly self-taught, having supplemented my education with private lessons and college electives in art. My passion for creativity began in childhood grew with each discovery of the artists and beauty behind my inspiration.

I work primarily with acrylics and mixed media, creating textured coastal-inspired pieces and color-centered abstracts influenced by artists such as Cy Twombly and Mark Rothko. My style draws from personal experiences, such as the breathtaking waters of Balos Lagoon in Greece and aerial views of the Emerald Coast. My artwork has been featured in local businesses, private collections, and West Jefferson Medical Center, where my work creates soothing, serene hospital environments, including postpartum rooms.

In addition to participating in exhibitions at local venues, I’ve been honored to appear in 008 Magazine and am an active member of the Iberia Parish Art Guild. My recent projects focus on calming coastal abstracts, soothing palettes for hospital spaces and whimsical, colorful artworks for children’s rooms and joyful interiors. My mission is to create meaningful pieces that bring joy and tranquility to art lovers, curators, and designers alike.
