One of the major historical contributions of Roman architecture was the development of the arch. Steve Kline has created a colorful contemporary version of the archway as a ceremonial entrance to a public space. The artist has constructed his sculpture by welding together discarded industrial steel pipe and painting its surface to reflect the playfulness of this public park. There are benches incorporated into the design as well.
