LUNA Fete 2017 is the kick-off for the New Orleans 2018 Tricentennial celebration. This piece celebrates the 300 years of New Orleans history, music, and culture. This statue includes the six instruments that are used in a jazz band: the sousaphone, saxophone, bass drum, snare drum, trombone, and trumpet. This piece allows the viewers to interact with the sculpture to participate in the jazz ensemble. NOLA Tricentennial Band represents the which is music so important to the city and how it touches everyone who listens to it.
