The Jukwa, or carousel, is a large double-decker Praxinoscope depicting a young girl dreaming carousel zebras into being. The girl lies in a hammock from the branch of a large Baobab tree. As she falls asleep, her ZZzzzs begin an animation of arrows darting, cranes flying, zebras running against a moonlit backdrop and the ebb and flow of the fog. Come along for this magical transformation.
