Where It Comes Together is part of the Glasscapes series — abstracted landscapes and cityscapes defined by structure, rhythm, and light.
A strong vertical and horizontal axis intersect at the center of the composition, forming a clear architectural framework. Layered geometric forms gather at this crossing point, suggesting an urban core or district where movement converges. Smaller elements extend outward, reinforcing the idea of connection within open space.
Hand-cut glass components are kiln-fused in multiple firings to create dimensional depth and subtle relief. The atmospheric background shifts between soft aqua, muted earth tones, and light-infused areas that evoke sky and air around the built form.
A balanced square-format piece that reflects convergence, alignment, and the energy of a place defined by its center.
The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, 18"x18"x2" whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “Tattoo” to the side of the panel. The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
